"MORE STREET," says the Summer!
At our last board meeting, Ron Zappile presented the idea that every creative project during our Summer Arts Champion campaign should be held outdoors; which...makes a lot of sense.
One of the ideas of this Summer Campaign is to inspire our communities to get out of the house, indulge in creative participation, and simply expand their experiences as a whole. We also want to highlight the fact that experiencing the Arts doesn't have to take place in the traditional settings (a museum, theatre, etc.). What better than to utilize a beautiful Alabama Summer with a smorgasboard of avant-garde, "street art" style projects, while throwing in a little classic picnic/barbeque type setting?! Could be really fun!
